How To Purchase Tickets

  • Online Sales

    Simply search for the concert you would like to attend in the events calendar and click on “purchase tickets.” Then please follow the instructions in our Webshop.Online purchases must be made with registration. If you would like to register as a customer with LUCERNE FESTIVAL, you will receive a password and access to your own secure customer site where you can view your reservations and create a shopping list of the concerts you would like to attend.

    Your personal online profile
    We have now implemented a new, more convenient ticketing system. We therefore kindly ask you to request a new password for your current login when purchasing tickets online and for your personal profile management (instruction).

    Be on the Lookout: Online Ticket Purchase Scams
    We are receiving increasing reports of untrustworthy Internet platforms offering and selling concert tickets to LUCERNE FESTIVAL events at highly inflated prices.
    According to LUCERNE FESTIVAL's General Terms and Conditions, the resale of tickets at prices higher than those shown on the tickets is expressly prohibited.
    For your own protection, before making a purchase please carefully check exactly which website you are using and note whether buying tickets incurs any excessive fees.

    Print@Home: The Option with No Extra Fees

    Purchase your tickets online and print them out yourself in the convenience of your home – with absolutely no processing fee. This option is valid only for regular tickets; discounted tickets as well as purchases in connection with special offers and promotions are excluded.

    Due to the situation surrounding the Coronavirus, we would like to inform you that the LUCERNE FESTIVAL advance booking offices will not be selling tickets for the events of LUCERNE FESTIVAL.

    You can reach the ticket office by telephone on +41 41 226 44 80 Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 12.00.

  • How To Pick Up Pre-Paid Tickets

    Starting three hours before the beginning of the event pre-paid tickets are held at the desk labeled “reserved tickets” at the main entrance of the KKL Luzern.

  • Wheelchair Seating

    To reserve wheelchair spaces please call our ticket sales office directly at +41 (0)41 226 4480. Wheelchair spaces are always made available as soon as online ticket sales begin but can only be reserved by telephone.

    The main concert hall of the KKL Lucerne has six wheelchair spaces available on special terms. Accompanying persons cannot be assured of obtaining a seat in the same price range or in the general vicinity. Wheelchair spaces are also available at the other event locations.

    If you require assistance at the event venue, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our local staff members are always available to help you with questions and problems that may arise.

  • Discounts

    Discounts for Students

    Students receive reduced concert tickets for CHF 20.00 at the box office one hour before the concert starts (depends on availability).

  • Discounted Travel

    As a LUCERNE FESTIVAL concertgoer, you will receive a 40% discount on the cost of your fare to and from Lucerne in 1st or 2nd class at any Swiss Rail (SBB) ticket window. (Tickets must be presented for inspection.) With the half-fare card, you end up receiving a discount of as much as 70% off the full fare. 

    This special ticket must be purchased before the trip start starts from a Swiss Rail ticket window, at a ticket machine, by telephoning the SBB Contact Center at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min on the Swiss landline network), or online at the SBB ticket shop 

  • Vouchers

    LUCERNE FESTIVAL vouchers for any amount desired up to CHF 500 may be purchased online or ordered by telephone.

    LUCERNE FESTIVAL vouchers may be used to pay online for tickets for all events and for LUCERNE FESTIVAL shop items. You can also include your voucher with a written order or use it when making a telephone reservation. Please note that vouchers are not accepted as a means of payment by our external sales outlets.

    Vouchers are valid up to 5 years from date of issue.

  • Fees

    In addition to the published prices for tickets and items, all reservations are assessed fees for processing your order as well as packaging fees in the case of shop items.
    • with purchase of tickets and items: CHF 7 (online sales) or CHF 10 (written or telehpone orders) processing fee per reservation/order
    • purchase of items: additional packaging fee of CHF 5/15 depending on the size of the item

    With a purchase of multiple items, the packaging fee for the largest item will be charged once.

    For Print@Home tickets (Link) and tickets purchased at the box office (Link) the processing fee is waived.
